Stage one is generation of a signal.

You are not expected to do anything on the basis of a signal that is generated by HKF.

Stage two is confirmation of signal. A signal generated on a day may or may not be confirmed on the next trading day after the close of trading hours. If a signal is not confirmed, it becomes invalid. Even if a signal is confirmed, you are not expected to take any action until the completion of the next stage.

Stage three is activation of signal. A signal that is confirmed may or may not be activated upon the opening of trading on the next trading day of confirmation. If a signal is not activated, it becomes invalid.

IT IS THIS THREE STAGE SYSTEM THAT FILTERS OUT MOST OF THE SIGNALS THAT ARE LIKELY TO FAIL AFTERWARDS.
